Schools Rule

  • The school diary is to be brought to school daily.
  • Student should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. Appropriate school uniform must be worn to school every day and for all school functions.
  • All boys, except the Sikhs, must wear their hair short. Girls should tie their hair with a black hair band.
  • Students who come to school with escorts must return with their escort. In case the escort is delayed the student must report to the school office.
  • Parents and guardians must not meet their wards or teachers in their class rooms without the prior permission from the Principal or the Vice-principal.
  • Student are not allowed to use the school phone without the permission of the office clerk. They shall not be allowed to answer phone calls during study hours.
  • The school does not permit students to host parties in the school on their birthday. Parents are allowed to sent chocolates for the classmates. Return gift, cake and other snacks, are not allowed.
  • Care should be taken to keep their school premises and side lanes clean. The school should not be littered with bits o paper, disposable tumblers, polythene carry bags.

ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL

  • Repeated absence from the school without prior sanction for more than 10 days renders the student liable to disciplinary action.
  • All students are expected to attend school on the opening day after every vacation. Those absent on account of illness must present a medical certificate before joining the class.
  • A student must show 75% attendance in a session to be eligible for taking the first and Second & Third Summative Exams and for a promotion. It is compulsory for all students to attend National Festivals celebrated in the school.
  • An absentee rejoining school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease must come with a fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
  • Parents should fill up the "Record of Absence" for the days the child is absent stating the reason for the absence.
  • In case an appointment is taken with a doctor during school working hours or the child is known to be suffering from fever, please do not send the child to school.

LATE ARRIVAL IN SCHOOL

  • The school gate will close 5 minutes after the first bell rings as per reporting time.
  • The student will be sent back home on late arrival after the school gate closes.
  • There is no provision for half day leave. Once the child is in school, he will not be permitted to go out before departure time.
